looking back, i think i really can’t stay still in Singapore for long. i’ll jump at an opportunity to go overseas, no doubt.

just after i came back from Beijing on the 18th Jan this year, I left for Koh Samui, Thailand on 28th March, Batam, Indonesia on 28th June.

Now I’m think of going to bangkok next month. :)

Anyway, had not managed to complete blogging about koh samui after plenty of procrastination. let me jump start on the batam trip.

oh well, batam was nothing exciting or fun. and we were just that for a 2D1N. just a quick weekend getaway, i like. :))

alright, here comes the pictures~

there were baby, me, edwin, peiwen, janice, aaron, zhu hui, lina and malcolm.

Photobucket

we met at seng kang mrt station, at about 8a.m.

Photobucket

FInally we were on the ferry. The whole ferry ride took about 45 mins.

Photobucket

I love that shirt! Heh heh. Of cos the boyf won’t choose this if he were out shopping alone. ;)

FYI,  Aaron and Zhu Hui (in the center) is together. They kept this from us. Even at this point when the photo was taken. It was only later during that night that they confessed. tsktsk.

Photobucket

my monkey!! was from beijing, went to Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia already!

Photobucket

This is supposed to be a room for 2 couples (There’s 3 couples in the trip but only 2 known ones). This kinda arrangement is quite weird. Haha.

Photobucket

We went to try this free aqua cycle. HAHAHA. You’ll see what it is later..

Photobucket

babyboy likes to take photo. keep snapping and snapping!

Photobucket

You see, another one.

Photobucket

And another one.

Photobucket

Hahahahaha. They were in a duck if i didn’t rmr wrongly. So basically Aqua Cycle is the most boring water sports you can experience. Haha. They cycled, but I just sat there. Hahaha. Oops. We did silly things like racing. Our speed was even slower than walking! I think a baby can crawl faster than this aqua cycle thing. Imagine how funny the race becomes. it was so slow! Feel like jumping into the waters and push it rather than cycle it.

Photobucket

oh i did not mentioned earlier that i was having a bad bad headache. that headache was with me for a few days even before we went to batam. i think its that period. anyway, we were at their grandest/biggest shopping mall called Nagoya Hill. it was so so so so boring! plus a headache and the don’t-like-to window-shop me, i was grouchy and baby had to put up with me. i finally couldnt stand it and suggested to find somewhere to sit down. and guess what, we were at level 2 and we couldn’t find the escalator to the 1st level. mind you, the place was only about half of far east i suppose? we walked round and round to find our way down. finally we settled down and baby started with the camera, photo taking session begins.

and finally, we took a proper picture..

there’s so many things which i had not blogged about. then again, can’t possibly be free to blog about everything huh. haha.

so there was the BiTC mini-gathering @ Beijing Yuan, a restaurant catering Beijing cuisines. (at a rather cheap price!) must say that the food tastes good and its totally worth the price.

so the guys were all talking about army and recounting anecdotes. Heh heh. i miss those days. man, i wish we can go back to Beijing and stay together again!

again, allow me to let the pictures do the talking huh. :)

Photobucket

coincidentally met my biaoge and beloved PP there. lovelove. hee~

Photobucket
this is felicia chin’s boyfriend wanna be. tsk tsk~

Photobucket

baby’s roomie in Beijing, my 24/7 friend (i wish, haha), yongsheng

Photobucket

and finally, the group photo. me, the only girlie that night. haa~

its our 6th month.

tried to do something special you know, like what couples usually do for 1st month, 2nd month, 3rd month, 4th month, 5th month, 6th month, 1 year, 2 year….. thus we decided to go for a picnic at sentosa.

so this morning… that silly boy who woke up at 5a.m. and woke me up.. ahem…

me: baby, we quickly wake up and go to the wet market to buy the ingredients for the food we are going to prepare for our picnic la… ok?

the boyf: okay okay can, let’s sleep for 5 more mins then we wake up and go..

5 hours passed..

the boyf: ermm.. baby, very late already you know.

me: (sheepishly..) huh.. what’s the time now?

the boyf: eh.. 10a.m.

*imagine an emoticon, with that smiley’s hand to his forehead. *

so our picnic plans had to be postponed. but, all’s not lost.. we went for shopping!!! :))

oh well, actually its just me doing the shopping. but shopping once in a while makes me feel good! heehee.

kinda blew my own wallet and boyf’s.

one thing we found out: NEVER PARK IN TAKASHIMAYA. gosh. we were there for less than 4 hours, and the parking fees sums up to $13.80! Sighhh.

btw, happy birthday papa!!! Heehee. May you live a long, healthy life. Love you many.

blessed

16Jul08

I just realized I had been blessed several times for the past 7 days since B enlisted last week.

Thursday: Gong2 whipped up his specialties. His food is yum-yum!

Friday: My boss brought me to 老北京 for lunch. Ahhh, all the yummilicious 公保鸡丁, 小龙包, etc etc.

Saturday: Met my darling fen at 日本村 for dinner. And that silly girl insisted to treat me as a celebration of my ‘promotion’. I thought I should be the one treating!

Sunday: Asked (Read: Strongly urged) papa to bring me to Daily Scoop for ice-cream. Had my usual double scoop, Sunny Strawberry and Kookie Monster. Just that this time, I don’t have B sharing it with me. B, I can’t finish it without you, and it just doesn’t taste the same.

Monday: Hang out with Xiaowei, Ai Ping and 表哥 over dinner @ NYDC. We went on dutch, but it was good time spent together. :)

Tuesday: Aunt Anna messaged me suddenly and suggested to meet up for dinner. We went to Coffee Club at Raffles place. We fought for the bill but she won. I’m happy that she treated, but I’m so determine to win over the bill next time we meet.

Wednesday (Today): Merry, our new and pretty colleague gave me 2 packets of biscuits. Hee. 1 plain crackers and 1 Strawberry Apollo. I gave her 1 of my big red strawberries in the morning too!

Tomorrow will be Thursday again. Can’t wait to meet my gong2. Heh heh….

Found this over the internet. Did not know that there’s so much to green tea! It’s one of my favourite tea. After I came back from Beijing, I began to learn how to appreciate tea more. By that, I don’t mean, milk tea or those bottled/canned pokka/yeos/etc tea. I mean those sugarless chinese tea.

Glad that green tea got so much benefits. Am gonna take more of it. (:

I had been to Japan before, but it seems like I had never been there before! Probably its because the trip was done with a tour group. Too mundane and touristy. Me no like.

I feel like flying there now and stay there for a good 1 month. Haa!

I wanna go to Disney Land again! Need a 2 day pass!

Ahhh.. man do I miss Japan.

The people, the food, the service, the colours, the weather..

On a side note, I just came back from Brunch with Papa. Had not ate with him for a long long time. Last time was during Father’s day? =S

So anyway, every time when I have to think of where to eat, I will not like to go to those boring coffee shops near my place. I always like to travel out to eat if I’m with someone.

So as we were preparing to leave, I asked Papa where are we going to eat. As expected, he suggested that coffee shop across the car park. Man, was I bored! Haha.

Then I had this thought. Will Baby become like that some years down the road? Hahaha. Too lazy and short of ideas to impress or pamper. Haha.

Both of us being a food junkie, and have this thing for good food (not necessary expensive). Almost every single meal we have together are at our favorite joints or road side hawkers. Yum yum… One thing which I told B before he got enlisted, “Sigh Baby.. Once you get enlisted, I will have no one bringing me to eat all the good food..”

And its a surprise how both of us still manage to maintain our weight.

Ahh, I think its high time that both of us come out with a blog post of all the good food which we love. (We got very stringent taste buds) Once all the pictures are in. I think we’ll be able to get started!

Alrights, gotta go and practice how to marinade and fry the chicken wings for the baby boy.
